College Foundation:

Chandrashekhar Azad Degree College was established by his grandson Rajendra Pratap Singh, inspired by the spirit of social service and education of his father Shri Raghuraj Singh Kachwah, in the virtuous memory of his grandmother, late Sheetla Devi, wife of late Jodha Singh, daughter of late Shivratan Singh Hada, and a great revolutionary patriot. Overwhelmed by the life of Chandrashekhar Azad, it was named after him.

The foundation stone of this degree college was completed on 1st June 2009 by Dr. Jagdish Narayan Ji Shastri (former Principal, Shri Harigopal Inter College, Sen Paschim Para), known as the scholar socialist thinker 'Suman' poet. Shastri ji believes that financially weak, helpless, meritorious students are deprived of getting higher education. Therefore, it is the sacred duty of the institution to provide higher education to the students at low cost.

Objective:

The ultimate aim of the establishment of degree college is to develop the personality of poor and meritorious students by expressing their inherent talent by providing graduate level quality education from the Faculty of Arts and Science, so that they become golden citizens and become partners in the nation's reconstruction.

Location:

Degree College is located on Kanpur-Hamirpur road, 12 km from Naubasta, 3 km from Vidnu canal on Kisan Nagar road, near Jamu bridge in the region of Jamu, which is a very backward area from the point of view of education.

Degree College Building:

In a calm and healthy environment of natural beauty, the campus of the degree college is enshrined in itself the boundary of an area of ​​8 acres. A huge grand building of furnished rooms is built in the ground. Along with the teaching of various recognized subjects of arts class and science class, often for social and mental upliftment the library, rich with large books of high quality of all the relevant subjects, its associated reading room and sports venue are also located. The Degree College Management Committee is active in organizing extra-curricular programs.

Special: - Management committee is trying to start many technical and vocational courses in the near future. At present, for the best education, UGC qualified and qualified lecturers approved by the university are appointed for teaching work.

Eligibility: - To take admission in BA first year / BS-C first year, it is necessary to pass intermediate examination of UP Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) or equivalent examination of other boards. Subject Selection :- In BA first year / BS-C first year, the candidates can choose any three subjects from the above mentioned subjects.

Application: - Students interested for admission, it is necessary to obtain the prospectus along with the admission application form from the degree college office and fill it completely and present it with necessary enclosures before the admission committee by the prescribed date.

1. The Principal of the degree college has full right to cancel the admission without assigning any reason.
2. The admission of any candidate will not be considered complete until he/she submits all the required forms to the degree college office.
3. • No examination application form will be forwarded after the date of submission of examination application form prescribed by the university.
